Tail of Three Geese

Okay so my title is kind of dorky, but it caught your attention, didn’t it!!!

This is my entry for WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge:  Threes.  It is all one photo just cropped differently.   This photo was taken with my Nikon 1 V2, Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 lens (equal to 27-81mm in 35mm format) lens.  I don’t know how much of a story they tell.  I put captions beneath each one, because I get a different feel from each photo.

For anyone interested in photography, please see my Calling All Photographers Post and participate in a couple polls I’m taking.

This first photo is the original uncropped.  These geese are huge they are about 3′ tall.

Peaceful day in the park and with no one sitting on the bench to feed us.

Leave me a one, I'm busy. Although don't you just love my reflection in the puddle.

  1. Great shot. I once tried to photograph two Canadian geese as they began landing in front of my patio but the gander surprised me and flew at the lens.Needless to say I still took the photo and then headed for shelter.

  2. They’re gorgeous – almost as gorgeous as ducks, Cee. I never noticed that double-breast thing: makes me think about foie gras, and that makes me sick. Do all geese have this?
