I know much of the USA got hit by winter storms again this weekend, so I thought I would post some bright flowers to cheer us all up a bit. This is my entry for Look Up, Look Down Challenge, Week 28. ENJOY!

This was a dahlia was in the Test Gardens at Swan Island. Wonder if they meant to have two centers. I doubt it.

I hope this helps…dahlias are summer blooms but their colors are so vibrant….I just had too.

oh my gosh – that first flower was my fav of them all – it gelt Georgia O’keeffe-ish – and it felt like a summer orange creamsicle – and it is snowy and cold here – so thanks for that – really. fun post!
