Share Your World – 2014 Week 11

Chris picked the questions again this week! So if you don’t the questions, blame her. I think you will enjoy them though.

screenshot_438If you were an ice cream cone how many scoops and flavors would you be and why?

Are you left or right handed?

Before making a phone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say?

How many rings before you answer the phone?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will be post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

Here are my answers.

bigstock-coffee-ice-cream-in-crispy-wa-43556806If you were an ice cream cone how many scoops and flavors would you be and why?  I would be a waffle cone or better yet bowl.  I would want three flavors:  mocha, peanut butter and chocolate and cookie dough.  Since I don’t eat cold food anymore, it would be a real treat.  I  would drink a cup of hot warm water first to warm up my stomach and follow it up with another hot cup.  Those are my all time favorite ice creams though.

Are you left or right handed?  Right handed.  I have written with my left and got fairly good at in school, but haven’t done it in years.

Before making a phone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say?  I hate the phone.  I usually have a piece of paper in front of me and write down any information I may need to say.  So I don’t forget it.

How many rings before you answer the phone?  In our house, we usually let it go to voice mail, unless we are expecting a phone call.  Then it depends on how far from the phone we are.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  I’m grateful that I had the most views ever on my blog last week.  Thanks to all of you.  I had a terrific health report from my Qigong Master.  I’m healing wonderfully well.  It is so good to keep getting reports that are positive.  I’m so used to always having to apologize to the western medical docs for continuing to get worse.

This next week, I am really look for more of my flowers spring bulbs to bloom.  I have one type of tulip in bloom and one of my daffodils opened up late yesterday afternoon.  We planted about 100 daffodils and 200 tulips.  So yeah, I’m happy.

  2. The ice cream and the tulips have melted my heart, lol.

Last Saturday my daffodils and crocuses have started showing their buds and today on Monday one of those daffodils has started blooming! My hyacinths have been flowering too. So that’s what I’m grateful for and look forward to in the week coming up as well as my tulips and other flowers.

Above all I’m grateful for the life that I’ve got and thanks God for His blessings. 🙂

Have a nice week ahead, Cee! 🙂

  3. 3 scoops chocolate with Hershey’s syrup drizzled on top. Why? well…duh…chocolate!!

Right handed – but every so often I use my left hand to write, brush teeth, open doors, Just to engage my brain differently.

    Yes – often rehearse.

I don’t answer the phone. I’m not a phone person, plus I have a mouth splint (recovering from August bike crash) and talking is uncomfortable.

Grateful for Chris’s Introvert Series every week. I’m looking forward to Friday 3/21 when many bloggers, including me, will reveal their themes for the April A to Z Challenge.

Sammy (good questions, Cee; didn’t have time to post this on my own blog today!)

  4. 3 scoops (because any more, the waffle cone would topple over: pistachio, jaimaica almond fudge, the flavor of the day (I’ll try anything new)
    Right handed.
Yes, Sometimes I write down what I have to say and read it right off the paper.
Rings? I never answer any phone unless I know who it is. If not, goes into voicemail.
Grateful last week? I had money. Next week? That I’ll still have money.

  5. If I were an ice cream cone, first I’d assume I don’t have to worry about calories or sugar so I’ll go with 4 scoops: pistachio, mint chocolate moose tracks, orange and the ever awesome COFFEE.

    right handed.

If there is something important enough for me to make a phone call then yes it’s rehearsed. I absolutely hate phones so…

answer it? why? my daughters have their own ringtones so for them i’ll answer oh, and the man that assigns my work…yeah better take his 🙂

I’m thankful for beautiful spring days and I’m looking forward to nationals being over so I can get back into my warm pool at the aquatic center.

  6. Oh, ice cream . . . if only I could be the empress of ice cream, as it’s one of my favorite treats! Although I don’t particularly want to be devoured, if I were ice cream, I’d probably be coffee-flavored (or “plain” chocolate) with Butterfinger chips in it, probably in a cup because I can get pretty messy, even as a human being (just ask my kitchen, if it could talk). On another sweet note, I’m so happy to hear you’re continuing on the road to recovery, Cee. I love these questions, but might not have time to post (kiddo with ear infection? probably?). We noticed our planter’s chives are growing here already; man, those things are so hardy. Yay for spring!
