This is a terrific shot, amazing macros. What lens do you use to get such detail?

That was shot with my Nikon 1 V2 (Mirrorless camera) with my Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 lens (equal to 27-81mm in 35mm format)

Gorgeous iris. I’ve had no luck growing them here … too much shade, I think. Yours are magnificent.

Nice shot Cee! I’ve always thought Bearded Iris as a kind of contradictory name – the Iris is delicate, yet a beard is coarse! Still pretty flowers though 🙂

I can’t get the prompt to come up, no matter what I try, even from the email. Any idea what’s going on? Great photo, BTW.

Cee, if you get a moment, would you do two things for me? See if my comment posted and if I have a pingback? I can’t get past the first page and I had to get there via your link. Someone else said they’re having the same problems. Thanks. If you don’t have time, that’s fine, too.

I got your link through my email from the WP challenge. They are definitely having technical difficulties. When you hit the “newer pages” link on WP site it goes nowhere.

Beautiful image Cee! The sharpness on the stamens is fantastic! I don’t really know about the mirrorless systems, but am certainly curious.
