I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will be post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

Here are my answers.

If you were the original architect of one existing building, which building would you select? I saw this building on House Hunters International and I’m just fascinated by the geometry of it.  I would have liked to design the  CCTV (China Central Television) building in Beijing, China, designed by Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren of OMA were the architects in charge for the building, while Arup provided the complex engineering design.

What is one of your favorite quotes?  Whenever I need a pick me up, I go to Lao Tzu quotes.  They are so simply and elegant and I can feel them in the heart.  This is a quote that spoke to me today.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

–Lao Tzu

What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?   Normally I would wear blue, but this past year it has changed to more of a bluish-green.  I’m sure someone who really knows colors would have something to say.  I also like orange too.

I feel like I am living in the country now with my new pitchfork.
I feel like I am living in the country now with my new pitchfork.

What is something you learned in the last week?  I specifically chose for this question today.  Yes, as host of this challenge I can pick and choose. When our front yard was landscaped, we ordered extra mulch so we can use it in our backyard.  Anyhow, this weekend, I was out with my trusty shovel and loaded our wheelbarrow with mulch.  It was harder work than I had expected it would be.  The shovel would only go in an inch or two and stop.  I ended up with a sore upper back after barely loaded up our wheelbarrow.  Then I remembered our landscapers used a pitchfork to load mulch in their wheelbarrow.  So Chris and I went off to the local farm supply store and bought a pitchfork.  It worked wonderfully well.  I filled our wheel barrow in a few minutes, even with sore and achy muscles.  I felt like it was a victory for me.  Something physical I can actually do and feel good about.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Our weather has turned to high 80s and 90s.  I’m very grateful our new house has air conditioning.  Our old house had hardly an insulation and no air, so when it was 90 outside it was 90 inside.  It was a huge health concern.  Now I can stay comfortable in my house and not be afraid.

Not much planned for this week because of the heat.  Just stay cool and maybe clean off our sidewalk and driveway in our front with our power sprayer.  I love it.  Should feel good in the warm weather to be playing with water too.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  2. All great answers! I love that there are still people out there who will hire an architect to build something unique. I’ve never used a pitchfork. Go you 🙂

  3. Hooray for pitchforks and air conditioning! Today we have nature’s air conditioning going in the form of onshore flow and a marine layer that still hasn’t burned off. But I’m okay with it. 80+ degrees completely zaps my energy! Stay cool!
