Share Your World – 2014 Week 29

Russian_submarine_3Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?

Are you a listener or talker?

Do you prefer crunchy peanut butter or smooth peanut butter?   Anything with your peanut butter?

Have you ever been drunk?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will be post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

Here are my answers.

Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?  I’ve have not been in a submarine.  I would love to go in one, if I were more mobile and flexible.  The smaller ones would be utterly amazing.

Are you a listener or talker?  Once upon a time, I would have said listener, but now I think I can listen and talk.  Depending on what is needed and my mood at the time.  If I’m feeling insecure, a listener.

Do you prefer crunchy peanut butter or smooth peanut butter?   Anything with your peanut butter?  Smooth.  If eat peanut butter on a tortilla and sometimes I will add some Nutella with it.  If I eat a sandwich usually a little bit of honey to moisten the bread a little bit.

Have you ever been drunk?  Nope.  I’ve had a few drinks in my lifetime, but not for over 30ish years.  I just never liked how I felt being a little out of control.  I know I am no fun at a party.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful that I got my new computer, Lightroom and Photoshop last week.  Now my brain is totally fried.  This week I will get a break from learning anything new, because I need to prepare for a little art show I’m having at a qigong retreat I’m going to the following week.  I gave my Qigong Master a couple of lotus photos and she asked if I would want the opportunity to sell my photography at the retreat.  It will be a small group of people, but it is exciting.

Qi (energy) hugs,

  1. I was in the u-boat at the museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Not quite the same as being in a ‘live’ submarine, but I still think it counts. And I would love to go for a submarine ride, if were ever possible. 🙂 Not a big fan of peanut butter, but I’ll eat it smooth or crunchy, as long as it is 100% peanuts. Can’t stand the stuff with sugar and oils added. It’s interesting (out of order, sorry), but I am a talker as long as I haven’t had a chance to do as much talking as I want/need to. If I’ve been spending time around good listeners, I get talked out, and then I just listen. I *prefer* to listen, but I spend so much time alone, the words kind of build up. Been drunk WAY more times than I can count. I don’t drink anymore. 😉 And I am grateful that I managed to take a whole bath without a rocket alert – it even waited ’til I’d dressed and trimmed my nails.

  2. mmmm – peanut butter and nutella …. I hadn’t considered it before but now it sounds like such an obvious combination. I predict a new food obsession in my future 🙂

  3. How exciting to have Lightroom and Photoshop! I received Lightroom as a gift this past Christmas and I am still fumbling my way through it, mostly just using the sliders to make adjustments. I hope you can let me know if you make any great discoveries while learning to use it! I have an older version of Photoshop Elements that I haven’t installed on my new computer, but I am thinking about putting it on to do some editing stuff that I either can’t do, or haven’t figured out how to do with Lightroom. Good luck with your photo show!

    1. Just let me know if you have any questions and I’ll see what I can to help you out. Especially since I have the lessons for awhile. 🙂 Thanks for commenting. I’m really liking Lightroom.

  4. Best wishes for your art show, Cee. I really enjoyed answering your questions this week, especially about peanut butter as it took me right back to my childhood. I hope you find my answer interesting.
