Share Your World – 2014 Week 33

Do you believe in ghosts?

Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility:  If you could play any sport professionally what would it be?  Or if you can’t picture yourself playing sports, what is your favorite sport?

Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?

If you were on an small island, who would you want to be with? And where is it?  How big is it?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will be post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

Here are my answers.

Do you believe in ghosts?  No, not in the classic sense.  I believe that energy can remain after a person dies.  And that energy can be enhanced by our beliefs and our own energy or intentions.

Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility:  If you could play any sport professionally what would it be?  Or if you can’t picture yourself playing sports, what is your favorite sport?  First thing that popped into my mind was tennis.  As a kid I played a lot o tennis by myself on the backboards of my school.  It was a great escape for me.  I thought I was fairly decent until I played with a tennis pro one day.  We ended up at the beach instead.  We had a great time and became friends.  That was the end of me playing tennis though.

Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?  I really like myself in long hair.  But I’m beginning to like it better just below shoulder length.  That way I can put it in a pony tail for photo ops so it doesn’t get in my way.

If you were on an small island, who would you want to be with? And where is it?  How big is it?  There is a show out of Canada called Island Hunters.  It is much like House Hunters except the buyers actually buy an island with or without a house on it.  I would take an island off of southern Alaska or the States of Washington or Oregon where the winter’s are mild and the summers are mild too.  It would be at least thirty acres and have a house on the highest part, just in case the water rises.  And of course since this is a dream the weather or water rising would never be at a dangerous level.  I would want an ocean view from the house.  The island would needs lots of trees.  A small beach area to enjoy the waves and scenery and hear the waves.  I would have Chris, of course, and any pets would be welcome.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   This past week Chris and I ordered a hot tub for outside.  We’ve had one years ago before I got sick and totally loved it.  I’ve got a lot of edema in legs from being sick and this will go a long way to healing that up.  So obviously this week we are preparing for our new hot tub.

  2. It sounds nice to have one’s own hot tub. I know you’ll enjoy it–and if it has health benefits for you, then all the better! I liked volleying the tennis ball back and forth, but when it came to competition, that took the fun out of it. I still like badminton! Your island home sounds nice. I forgot to add my link after scheduling my post, looks like you got the ping back for A New Day Dawns, above. Have a good week!
