You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you. Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want. Have a fabulous week everyone!!
Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.
If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.
I will be post four different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate.
- Create a Share Your World post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.

Here are my answers.
Did you ever get lost? When I lived in the Denver, Colorado area no, I did not get lost. There streets were laid out in a square grid and it was very easy to get around. High flat desert allowed for a good grid. Downtown Denver was laid out diagonally so that was tricky but once you knew that it was easy.
Now when we moved to Portland, have I gotten lost? Yes many times. Rivers and small hills make a straight street grid impossible. They twist and turn. The one thing I don’t like about Oregon is they are not good a signage. Which I think is why people are very nice drivers.
Who was your best friend in elementary school? When I moved to California I met a girl named Kathy and her father was in the Navy. We became instant friends and remained friends up through high school. She moved to the Washington DC area that same year. It was a friendship bond that we kept long distance for many years.
Since the news television season has started in the US, list three favorite TV shows. NCIS, Grey’s Anatomony, Castle and Bones. I’ve seen one Madam Secretary and that has great promise too.
If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing? After hot tubbing, a mouse would see Chris and I relaxing watching TV on the couch. MacKenzie one of our pugs lying near Chris’s feet at the end of the couch. Shadow our other pug lying between my legs snuggled on the ottoman and our cats finding their home on our laps or other places on the couch.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful that last week our heat pump was an easy fix. I started a new class in Qigong and Sunday Chris and I went to our Local Flock and Fiber show.
This week will be house cleaning and general catching up on rest since last week was a busy week.
