I had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s theme of The Color Yellow.  Thanks everyone you always amaze and delight me.

I’m proud to announce our featured bloggers this week. Their posts really grabbed my attention. Please check out their posts and congratulate them. Maybe you will be chosen next week.

Ever Changing – Three very different photographs and types of photography.  I adore all three.

Third Person Travel – Tumeric is a fabulous color.  Stunning photo of a  Sadhu or Holy Man.

Hamburg und Mee(h)r – I adore those floral photography in these photos.  Each photo provokes a different mood.

Reflections and Nightmares – Irene A Waters – Such a great yellow collection of fun and beauty.

A New Life Wandering – The first photo is brilliant simplicity in this photo.  Great selection of yellow in this post.  Definitely my kind of photography.

The Nature of Things – Birds, butterflies and flowers are all beautifully captured in this post.

My Aberdeen Garden – More dazzling yellow flowers to tantalize your senses.

Raspberry’s Daydreams – Doesn’t the brilliant mustard yellow just make that omelette look tasty.

My Entry for the Week

I don’t do a lot of pastels.  It just is not my own personal preferred style.  So here are a few photos that I have taken.

  1. I love what you did with the tulips. If you’re looking for ideas to blog about, I’d love to see how you did it. Yes, I want to try it for myself!

  2. Thanks, Cee, for your very kind mention. I’m looking forward to finding something for the Pastel challenge. I especially love those shades of pink in your first picture.

  3. All very different photos. I actually think the first one is my favourite which is odd since it has nothing to do with gardening. It is just such a romantic image with the antique suitcase and the parasol. Where did you take it?
I think I have peaked too early and am also having difficulty finding pastel photos. I clearly prefer bright flowers, but I can find a few I think.

  4. Great pastel photographs, Cee! I love the first two. And those claws! 🙂 I too don’t click pastels much — looks like this is a tough challenge for at least some of us 🙂 — but I’m sure I’ll find something if I dig deep enough…
