How do you manage to find so many colors? Do they grow in your own garden?

I do have some in my own garden, but the biggest thing is that I live 2 miles from the largest dahlia farm in the Americas. They leave there gardens open for us to enjoy and photograph.

This one I actually toned down the color a bit. It just that people normally see a single flower with a lot of distraction around it….and that is what tones the colors and details.

I really like the little bit of yellow with the purple. I will stop by these dahlia farms on my next trip to Oregon.
