This week’s topic is wood.  It can be a young tree to petrified wood to a table, siding, carving.  All wood is allowed in this challenge as long as it is the main focus of your photo.  So have fun with this topic and I look forward to seeing what all you bloggers come up with.   Use your imagination and creativity with this topic.  I hope you have a lot of fun with the topic.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  Look for contrast or highly textured subjects to shoot.

Thank you everyone for your overwhelming enthusiasm for the challenge last week.  I’m proud to announce our featured bloggers from the Weather challenge.  Please check out their posts, they are worthy of a second look.  ENJOY!

My entry this week

This is an Octopus Tree. It actually grows with lots of trunks naturally. When this tree was first growing some of the trunks were trained t grow sideways for awhile then upwards. The tree wasn't harmed in the process.

  1. Thank you Cee for adding the link to Another Voice here. Looks like I had my url in the comments thread already. It’s just the pingback that didn’t work! Thank you dropping by my blog. Sorry for being a pain – damn pingbacks! 😦

  3. Love the octopus tree and more so the fire breathing dragon. Did not notice first time as red is one of those colours which are difficult to see. 🙂
