Here is my entry for Robyn’s One Four Challenge for January Week 3.
Here is my Week 3 version.
In this one I cropped it so your attention would be on the road. I also took out the wires and poles. Hopefully you will want to see what is further down the road.
Here is the original photo. I liked how this tree over hung on the road.
Here is my Week 2 version.
In this one, I took out the cropped it so there was more of the blue in the sky showing. I deleted the signs along the side of the road. Darkened the road to make it standout. Then I added a lighter green to the grass and tree and brightened it up a bit.
Here is Week 1 version.
I cropped this a little closer than the original photo. In this version I keep the exposure a little darker to give more of a sense of darker cloudy skies. Added a little yellow to green.
Until next week.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
Nice and that tree look like a nice place to sit on a hot day.

Bringing the attention to the road definitely gave me the ‘Oh!’ look at the tree even more, Sure wish I had this tree on my front yard! so cool 🙂

I like this, nice edit. This closer version feels real to me, as in real time. The angle makes me feel like I’m on the road, coming up it. I like how the trees beyond the “tunnel” made by the tree are brighter.
Good job. 🙂

I like the crop, it really changes the feel of the picture being open and free, “on the open road”, now I feel slightly more claustrophobic with everything much tighter.
Great work Cee.

Cee great job with the editing and removing the extra bits, and the processing makes it look like a faded family photograph. I would have like to have seen a little space between the edge of the tree and the edge of the image on that LH side tho.
