Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Roadscapes

012215b&w_4 This week’s topic is roadscapes, the only requirement is that a road must be the main focus of your photo. So have fun with this topic and I look forward to seeing what all you bloggers come up with. Use your imagination and creativity with this topic. I hope you have a lot of fun with the topic.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below. Be creative and challenge yourself. Look for contrast or highly textured subjects to shoot.

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

Black and white photography
Sepia tones (browns)
Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white.

Hopefully you will have a lot of fun with this challenge and find your creative eye will be expanded. Here are a couple tips and tricks posts I have done specifically for black and white photography.

All great photos Cee but the bridge one is my favorite. I think of you every time I shoot a bridge and wish that I could do so half as well as you do.

Had a bit of a blow up (server crash) right after I submitted my entry for this week’s challenge and have been restoring the blog ever since. I recreated the entry (with the wrong date and then the original date) and here it is. Hope you like it

I love the sharp symmetry in the bridge shot. The absence of vehicles on the bridge really draws attention to the shapes. Here are a few roads from me:
