WP Weekly Photo Challenge: Depth

Here is my entry for this week’s Word Press’s Weekly Photo Challenge with the topic Depth. I hope you enjoy my selection for this week. I used a macro lens so the depth of focus and bokeh is more what I decided to play with for the topic of depth.

I particularly like the screw and the spiderweb. I’m entranced with drops on spider webs and have taken many photos of them. They never grow old or boring!

A macro lens is on my wish list — just love what you can do with them, beyond playing around with a normal lens’ depth of field! The cobweb is a lovely shot.

I love the screw coming up through the board. Clever!! And the spider web is like a jewel. Maybe someday we’ll add macros lenses to our kit. Oh, so much to learn and see and do!!!

Nice demonstration of depth of field, one of the harder concepts to illustrate. Love them all, but love the goose best. I love geese 🙂
