5 Day Black and White Photograph Challenge: Day One

Here is my day one post for the 5 Day Black and White Photograph Challenge.  I want to thank Light Words for tagging me to join in on the fun. There are only two rules.

  1. For 5 days create a post any past or present photo in black and white.
  2. Each day you invite a new photographer to join the fun.

Here is my all time favorite black and white photos.  I took this at Lincoln City.  It was a sunny day with dark blue skies and the ocean was blue.  When I turned it into black and white I darkened the blues and this is the result.  A totally different photo and I just fell in love with it.

I would like to tag, A Sawyer’s Daughter.  I really hope she participates because I really appreciate her photography.

  9. I love how the lines in the crest of the wave seem to flow up form the folks sitting – so I think the flow of this photo is what I love most – the movement/energy – ❤

  18. My whole world right now is black and white. It’s the effect of snow, so even if I don’t turn them black and white, the color is so muted, it’s almost not there.

    That’s a wonderful beach and wave picture. Looks like a poster.
