It is time for Robyn’s One Four Challenge for February Week 3.
For this series I picked a photo I took of the Willamette Falls in Oregon City, Oregon. My the original photo is shown on the right. I chose this particular photo because I thought I could play around with the color of the water and clouds. Knowing me I will play around with cropping this photo during the next four weeks.

Week 3 Version
In this week’s version I decided to play around in photoshop. After lightening the original, I tweaked a bunch of layers and added a gradient to it. I also cropped it slightly. Here is the result.

I like the new version. It’s such an interesting shot, too, as if the ground broke off and left a hole for water to rush into.

That is pretty much what it looks like too. Thanks Marilyn for commenting.

No matter how you edit it, every picture is great. I really love Week 2. I like the close-up of the falls, the colors, the reflections in the water, and even the houses (I think) tucked away into the trees in the background.
LikeLike
Yep, those are houses tucked away back there. Thanks for commenting Robin.

Somehow I missed you last week – my apologies. A few of the posts are not showing up in Reader again. I really like the crop for week 2 also 😃😃

I like the sky in this edit , Cee…nice. I just wonder if there’s a little much brown kin the landscape itself, but that’s probably just me…..I don’t do serious photoshop edits myself! Don’t have the patience….

I rarely use photoshop a lot, that is why I just played. There are times I want more than Bridge. Actually the brown is a little to orange maybe, but that is all bare leafed trees among the evergreens. So I can see where it turned like that.

Nice work. It reminds me of the old photos of the 70’s – the colours that is.

Lovely edit, It does feel like there is an old vintage tone to it which I like. I do like this sky from week 1 but the overall look of week 3 is great!

I still like week 1 myself. 🙂 Thanks.

I like the colour in the sky and the water but the red brick colour to the foliage was a bit more than my tired brain could process right now 🙂
