Here is my entry for A Word A Week Photograph Challenge – Broken. I hope you enjoy my choices.
A broken Caterpillar and window.
A broken pole barn. This the end of a 120′ barn. The owner happened to be on site and I was able to walk inside and get some great shots. He is an organic vegetable gardner for fancy restaurants and stores some of his supplies on the other side of the barn which looks a little better than this end.
A broken cup found at Camp 18 in Elsie, Oregon.
A broken rusty crusty ship.Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
Broken things are the best..so much history, so many stories. Good ones, all!

Great pictures. Why are we so fond of photographing old, broken things? I am too. Old trucks, cars, boats, barns. Vacant houses, shacks. There’s something about them. Ghosts?

Perhaps it is the ghosts……. thanks Marilyn! 🙂

These things may be broken but your photos have given them new life.

You are too kind. I have a couple of broken abandoned houses that are torn down now. I almost feel sorry they are gone. 🙂

That poor barn really looked broken there. 🙂 Thanks.

These are definitely some eye-catchers. I can just see myself driving by that ship and barn and coming to a screeching halt, jumping out the door before my car is even at a complete stop! 😉 I also though appreciate the clean, door-like break on the cup; it takes me back to the tulip pic you posted recently with the fallen petal. Good eyes.

You know the tulip and the cup would go well together. You have a great eye!
