Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Farm Animals

030315farm_1This is the second week of my Just Some Fun Topics challenge series.

This week’s topic is Farm Animals.  Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything knew you can photograph.   Most of all I hope you have fun.  This is definitely one where you can add photos of your favorite things.

I had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s theme of Bikes and Motorcycles.  Thanks everyone you always amaze and delight me.  I’m proud to announce our featured bloggers from last week’s topic. Their posts really grabbed my attention. Please check out their posts and congratulate them. Maybe you will be chosen next week.

There are several bloggers who have been featured for the first time on any of my challenges this week.  So please go out and have a look at some great photos.

Wanderings of an Elusive Mind –  Some marvelous street photos of bicycles and motorcycles  photos of her trip to Asia.

Mittened Hands – This photo has marvelous symmetry and geometry to it.

VK2FMIA.COM – A stunning action photo of a racer.

Dharma Anchor – Wonderful perspectives of a motorcycle and rider.  I adore this first shot with the helmet and just a little bit of the tire.

Robin’s Real Life – A unique bicycle stand to a very usually decorated bicycle.  Great photos.

Nhung Dong Thuong Nho – An very unusual biker on this motorcycle.  Such a fun photo.

Through the Lens of My Life – Another wonderfully creative decorated bicycle.

Living with My Ancestors – Bikes for all ages and times.  Great series of photos.

Tales from The WaginMaster – His first photo of the bicycle in snow makes me feel sad. His other photos are of his dad in the 1930s on a classic motorcycle and himself in 1960s.  Very nostalgic looking.

Current Series – Just some fun topics

he Next Series – The Letter “C”

  • Colorful Monotones (no sepia or black and white)
  • Churches (any religious building)
  • Close-up
  • Clouds
  • Cars – New, Vintage, Toy, etc.

How It Works?

      • a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX80…so far I love it. I have been testing my slide converter and am just thrilled with the results. Also dug out some CDs I made in the mid-90s, photos of Mexico and I am VERY pleased with the quality. I used a 35mmSLR then and going through these slides brings back lots of memories. I will get some out soon…I want to do some photo blogs of various places. 🙂 This slide/film converter is the best $150 bucks I ever spent!

  1. I love every single photo. I just love cows and the goat is sweet, but they scare me. I think the birds steal the day. I love the beautiful colors of the feathers on the rooster and the chicken, plus how close up they are.

  3. Wow, the colours on that chicken in the middle there are amazing!! And what is that bird at the top? My favourite is the goat. He looks so peaceful!

I’ve added my entry, but it’s last year’s photos I’m afraid. I don’t see any animals in the fields around here anymore.

  4. This on is gonna be tough! I don’t know any farmers, haven’t been to a farm – ever? – I may have to dig through my mom’s photos! But I will give it a try!

      • Thank you, Carol. It was laugh aloud awesome. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that cows are not intelligent, curious creatures, maybe even with a little bit of a sense of humor. If I lived in the country and didn’t love to travel, I would have one, not so much as a pet, but as a companion.

  5. I love that emu! I’ll have to poke through my files for some farm animal photos.
And thank you for the mention in your featured bloggers list! 🙂

    • I believe that is an Emu. I don’t see a lot of them, but I have seen a couple just by driving around the countryside. I’d love it if you had two entries. 🙂
