bubblebathList 2 things you have to be happy about?

Do you prefer ketchup or mustard or mayonnaise?

If you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?

Do you prefer a bath or shower?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

Here are my answers.

List 2 things you have to be happy about?  In the immediate that Chris did not get hurt when she fell this weekend.  See her post here. The other thing is that I just feel happy and lighter lately.  Spring is here and I’ve been doing qigong along with good sleep, swimming and walking.  It all feels good.

Do you prefer ketchup or mustard or mayonnaise?  Can say none of them.  Actually I would have the mayonnaise with added horseradish.  I am not a ketchup or mustard fan.

ovyNHNgIf you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?  A deep dark black that has little brightly colored splashes of color around the edges.  I didn’t really have a great childhood.  To violent and full of secrets. I did have some good moments but my home life really wasn’t the best.  I liked school most of all.  I didn’t have a lot of friends or ran around with a group of kids.  I usually ended up being the teachers pet, especially when younger.  It’s the teachers in my life that helped formed me into a little person more than family.   I also got the most acceptance and love from teachers too.  The brightness and color is from those few friends I had and teachers along the way.

Do you prefer a bath or shower?  Most definitely a shower.  I have been a shower person since I was in the 3rd grade.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   This past week was fun.  We didn’t do anything special.  Chris and I had a lot of great talks together and just enjoyed our lives.  We had a nice rain this weekend (nearly 3 inches).  It was a nice rain that just never stopped.  The worst part was the wind that came when the storm blew and then blew out.  We are not back to our normal gray skies and foggy morning.  Although the fog should lift around 10 or 11.

This week I’m just looking for more of the same.  Maybe run down to the tulips sometime this week since the festival starts on the 20th and their fields already have plenty of color.  We get a free pass parking because we bought a bunch of daffodils from them last year.

Qi (energy) hugs,

  1. I’m glad your childhood had some colour, because that’s important – light to penetrate the darkness. I love that you ended on such a positive – it made me happy – like a bright splash of yellow 🙂

  2. Ooops..see there is already a pingback above…But I’m not through talking, so here’s another! Actually, I have a question for Cee. How many hours during the day are you on the computer and do you have a signal that dings when someone makes a comment or posts? You so often answer a post a few seconds after I post it. I am impressed. Is it mental telepathy? Elves? Due diligence? There must be hundreds of people answering your challenges each day. Plus, you read blogs that are not photo blogs. How do you do it? A secret? Hyperactivity? Little sleep? Or, I repeat, elf helpers?

    1. I’m on the computer a lot. Not necessarily always blogging, but I check my email. I have turned off he ding for the email because it drove me crazy. I will get up to 800 or more emails a day. I am OCD though when it comes to email always have been, even when I worked. I hate unanswered emails. I really hate writing right now, because this was again within minutes…that is pure coincidence. Usually I’m off the computer by now, but my scheduled changed because Chris took off work early so we had a break earlier than normal. Chris is now going to a meeting where she is a grief counselor. She won’t be home until at least 6:30 my time….so I’ll most likely be on and off the computer more this afternoon. Since the sun is shining I am going to go out and take some photos of my daffodils….. 🙂 Then of course play with my own photography. 🙂

      1. And I am going to go swim in the rain. The air is cold but the water piping hot, so why not? Daffodils are my favorites. No doubt you’ll share some of those pictures tomorrow…Feel no obligation to answer this comment! Go play with your camera.!

  3. I’m glad to hear you are feeling lighter and happier lately. And I’m glad someone enjoyed the rain we had! Here, we just grumbled about it. We really got spoiled with all those nice weekends we had.

  4. Your photo with the black in front and the colors on the edges reminds me of of art projects where you color first with bright colors then cover it in black, and then use a pin or something similar to scratch lines in the black allowing the color to shine thru. I’m glad you had teachers and friends to add the color in your background. Now it seems your life with Chris and your camera is the pin scratching out a beautiful design that is your life now. And you are sharing that color with the rest of us, adding it to all of our journeys. 🙂

  5. My favorite is your color answer. Mine would look a lot like that, but black with color splotches bursting through at random points rather than just around the edges. Love your blog Cee! Really do.

  6. That’s so sad about your childhood. For me home was good but I wasn’t well received by the other kids. I spent a lot of time alone on adventures so I didn’t really have time for friends. Most teachers liked me too, not cause I was smart. I actually struggled with reading and I think they liked that I wanted help, wasn’t willing to stay the way I was. I had some great teachers in school and grad school and now I can I say I’m a very good reader, but that didn’t happen until I was in my 40s.

Thanks for this series. I sure love it. Always great questions.

  7. Hi Cee! Hey – I was the teacher’s pet, too, especially when I was younger, just like you! Go figure! 🙂 I also absolutely loved school; couldn’t get enough of it. I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Hugs to you!

  8. I understand the colors of your childhood. I have students in my class that I try to express the blessings that the love of school can allow in one’s life when other areas of life are not what we wish they were.
