Jennifer’s One Word Photo Challenge has a new topic and it is weather. This week’s specific topic is rain. I hope you like my selection for today.
Oregon it rains ALOT to say the least.
Rainy day near Depoe Bay, Oregon.
Rainy day at Canby Park near sunset.
Rainy day at Horsetail Falls along the Old Columbia River scenic Highway.

Beautiful shots. The one with the ducks (geese?) in particular.

That evening I was out chasing rainbows and got that shot in the park. 🙂

Great photo. I can never get rain right. But this is really good.

I guess I should have specified that I was referring to the duck picture. But that first one is terrific too.

I felt lucky the day I got the geese shot. 🙂 Thanks Sandra

Good ones! Especially love the geese. Do geese really like rain? I always wondered.

It wasn’t that rainy yet. When it is pouring rain, they are hiding somewhere.

Looks like the geese didn’t mind it at all 🙂

Especially like the one taken at Canby Park with the geese. The rain likes your side of the Cascades the best – we don’t get much of it, but we’d be happy to take some of it off your hands.

Your weather is much more like Denver’s….dry hot in the summers and cold in white in the winters. I’ll give you some of our rain. It is suppose to be on and off rain for the next 10 days or so. At the moment is is partly sunny, but that won’t last long.

Great rainy day shots. I have tried so many time to get some great shots of rain. My only work when the rain stops and the sun shines.

This days was so fun. We had some awesome backlighting. We don’t get that often here in Oregon.

I wish I could add a local photo to this challenge. But in the San Francisco Bay Area – Rain???? What is that.

Since Jennifer’s challenge doesn’t necessarily need to show rain, you could maybe show a real dry photo of something and call it “I want Rain” or something like that.

I love Cee’s idea for this and would love to have you participate if you’d like. It doesn’t have to be rain at all, just something inspired by the word ‘rain.’

It sure does rain pretty in Oregon. I love how the headlights almost sparkle!

It was an extremely dark day so it was easy to pull out the lights. 🙂

I love these, especially you’re bird image. They are totally unfazed by the rain. Thanks so much for sharing.

These pictures are beautiful. Is it weird that I prefer the image of the road over the geese? 😀
