I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along. If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me. You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you. Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want. Have a fabulous week everyone!!
Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.
I will post four different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate.
- Create a Share Your World post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
- Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.
I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.
HERE ARE MY ANSWERS.
What is your most favorite smell/scent? I really don’t know if I have a favorite. Flower fields often overwhelm me and I tend to get sick. We don’t bake that often, but some baking can have some of the best scents. Anything thing with cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice or homemade bread. I think I would have to say tea tree. I really like that. There are a lot of scents I like, so I don’t know if I have an absolute favorite. How’s that for a non answer.
Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself? For me long hair. I keep it long enough for a pony tail. I did have nearly all the way down my back, but that was to wild and crazy.
Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous (for example if you are visiting a big city you don’t know?) Typically we have a rough idea of what we want to do, but our best times are when we go off plan and just to what feels like more fun. There was one vacation we were going to be camping out for a week on the Eastern Plains of Colorado in the winter just because we got a new pop-up trailer we wanted to try out and see some things we’ve not seen before. We were packed for winter. As we were driving out of town we decided to visit some friends of ours in Tucson, Arizona. Ended up having a great time and buying summer clothes. Then we drove up to the Grand Canyon and stayed in that area for awhile too. We ended up in an 18″ snow storm in the Grand Canyon area. We had a blast. Oh and our trailer held up to that snow load. So I would say we are more spontaneous than planned.
What is your favorite outdoor activity? For me it would be photography. Most photos I take are outside. I’m not that physically mobile yet, so going to nurseries and various farms is a wonderful way to get some outdoor time. I need for outdoor time that is for sure.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? Last week was a mixture of things. Early in the week I rested and relaxed a lot. If you have been following Share Your World, you know that I’ve been extremely exhausted. Early in the week I recovered extremely well from that. On Friday Chris and I went to Seattle, Washington for the weekend. The photo to the right was taken from our hotel room. We were greeted to Seattle with a rainbow. We went to Seattle basically for a Qigong class, so we were not sightseers. I only took 36 photographs. And for me that is a record low. There is an entire story around our trip to Seattle, which I may share in another post. Seattle is beautiful, but I would recommend never drive there, especially if you are small town people like we are.
This week I just plan on relaxing more and continue falling in love with Oregon and my little town of Canby again.
Qi (energy) hugs,
