Lovely, Cee!
My husband’s aunt had an Iris garden she kept for Tip Top Inn that was run for 50 years on Pawleys Island by Mammy Dingle(her mom and my husband’s grandmother). It was exquisite as were her irises. The dining room came ablaze with pots and vases of brilliant colours, fresh every day.
Memories of sweet times past and a lost Southern gentile hospitality. Tip Top Inn was taken away by Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
Thanks for the memories. 🙂
