Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Ground

061815ground_2This week’s topic is Ground:  sand, dirt, paths, walks, trails.  I want to see plenty of soil in your photos this week.  Can be anything from a bag of soil to large dirt piles, from a small garden with dirt visible to trails and roads.  The possibilities are endless.  Have fun and use your imagination and creativity with this topic.

Photo is a walking trail at Crystal Spring Rhododendron Park in Portland, Oregon.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  Look for contrast or highly textured subjects to shoot.

  1. Excellent equestrian picture. It’s not easy to catch the horse’s movement and have it look graceful too. I will be starting my search for dirt. I could just start with the filth right here at home … Maybe not.

  2. Very different horse photos, Cee. 🙂 I like the perspective in the last one and the middle one (and the header) look excellent in B&W, conveying, at least to me, a feel of hard work.

    • I’ve only been there that one time. And it was near the end of summer. So the rhodies weren’t out. But the ducks and squirrels sure were. It is a gorgeous place. I hope you do get to participate this week. Thanks for stopping by.

Award Free Blog

I appreciate you thinking of me for an award. I have had a lot of fun with awards in the past. I think awards are a fantastic tool to help out people who are just starting their blogging adventure. I've been here awhile now.

My best award is that you somehow still come to visit me when ever you get a chance. It's a thrill and joy to share my photography and life with all of you. Thanks.
