Upcoming Topics

  • Large Subjects
  • Older than 50 years
  • Hands, Feet, or Paws
  • Things with Engines or Motors (cars, planes, trains, fans, air conditioners, lawn mowers, etc)
  • Flowers
  • Trees

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white.

Hopefully you will have a lot of fun with this challenge and find your creative eye will be expanded.  Here are a couple tips and tricks posts I have done specifically for black and white photography.

  1. Thank you for featuring me, I’m honoured, Cee! You have fine statue photos. That bear is gorgeous and well done. In our country there are lots of wooden bear statues, too (but not always so good 🙂 )


  2. Hey Cee, many thanks for featuring my entry for houses! For this week’s theme, I had even more fun finding out the pictures from my stash… I think I went a little overboard though… i posted 25 pictures!! *looks sheepish* So glad you don’t have a limit to the number of pics… 🙂

  3. Would you believe I had to post this five times? The first time I had posted it before I realized it was the Black & White challenge, so i had to trash the post and go back and edit all the pictures. Then the next three times I kept forgetting to save the posts and so they vanished! On the fifth try, finally a success of sorts.
