Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Large Subjects

070915bw_4This week’s topic is Large Subjects.  Your large subjects can be anything you want to show off as being large.  It could be a matter of perspective.  For example a flower with a small bug, makes the flower look huge.  Or a photo of something far away and something smaller in the foreground can also look huge.  It is up to you view of what is large and appeals to you.  The possibilities are endless.  Have fun and use your imagination and creativity with this topic.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  Look for contrast or highly textured subjects to shoot.

MY ENTRY THIS WEEK

Notice how small the people are in this photo.

A huge barn.070915bw_4

A Cargo ship.070915bw_5Here is an example of perspective of how you change the size of things.  The 5 lb. bag of rice (in the back) and the camera remained in the same place.  I moved the little 4″ spice containers to give the illusion of size.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee
