I’m playing along with Robyn in her One Four Challenge for July. Here is my Week 2 entry.
I decided to play with this sign and bicycle. I took this photo at Canby Community Park. I just thought it had an air of irony to it. This is my original photo to the right.
Week 2 Edit
For this week I went with more of a vintage look.
- I lightened the top of photo in Adobe Bridge.
- I then added a few layers from Color Efex Pro 4.
- Then in Photoshop I added a background
- I also cropped the photo a little bit.
I hope you enjoy the results.

It looks like a vintage photograph. This is really good!

I’m not sure which I prefer. I think I’ll wait till the end of July to decide. 🙂 But I imagine it’s only going to get harder!

The greener toner is nice but I’m less certain about the lime green frame around it 😜

I went back and forth on the border, I just wanted to give it a little different looks.

I think for me the biggest issue is that tonally the shades of green are quite different so I find it particularly jarring – Im odd that way 🙂

Cee this works for me 😃 It definitely has a vintage feel. On this screen your background shows up as a mustard colour and it looks good.
What’s next? 😜

I have no idea. 😀 Glad you like it. Different monitors and screen do weird things with color. I’ve had comments that the boarder looks like a lime green. It’s almost a slightly brighter tone of olive green on mine computer.
