Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Teal or Turquoise

072115teal_1This is our second week of a new series that I am calling a Colorful World.  I’m taking a slight twist on colors for the next five topics.  I hope you enjoy these challenges.

This week’s topic is the colors of Teal or Turquoise any color that combines blues and greens.   Your items can be man-made items or things found in nature.  The world is at your disposal.   Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything knew you can photograph.   Most of all I hope you have fun.

Blogging

This teal and turquoise color challenge will run until through August 2.  I will be on a blogging vacation.  I have a qigong retreat I will be attending.  Please feel free to keep adding to this challenge  through August 2.  On August 3, I new color will be Peach or Apricot (otherwise known as light orange) challenge.  Featured bloggers for this challenge will be made at that time as well.

Featured Bloggers

022414-feature-bannerI had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s color of Lime or Bright Green. I want to say thank you to each of you.  Here are the featured bloggers for this week.  Their posts really grabbed my attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.

    • It is on the green side on my monitor. I know the color will change from monitor to monitor too and between men and women (and people in general) as you pointed out. Your entry was terrific.

  1. This is going to be interesting. Out here on the east coast, that isn’t a color we see often, except occasionally in the sky. Or, of course, in fabric or on a car … but not even all that common there. I shall have to look through the files and put some thought in.

I think out on your coast, that color is part of nature. The Pacific is bluer, more teal … the North Atlantic is grey or very dark — almost navy or slate — blue. A real change this time.

I love that picture of the rolling breaker. It is gorgeous and makes me want a trip to a beach right NOW.
