We’ve been in the 100s this past week and no rain. It’s been a long hot summer. Don’t know what it is going to do for dahlia season. We are being warned that trees are likely to have branches break off and die because they are too dry. Once the rainy season starts that is. Our neighbors have a huge maple tree and they are not watering, and part of it looks pretty bad. Fortunately we have been watering out trees.

I know that the west coast has the same problem. Our nature seems to be one of excess lately–too much or too little.

Love those Delphs. These days they come in so many colours. I’m still partial to the deep blue ones with white centres … Cheers Jamie.
