I really like this photo and I did not crop it for a change.  Some of the major steps I took for this photo are:

  • I took out the closet couple who were walking the wall. I liked just the one couple far away.
  • Used a few different gradient layers to get the coloring the way I wanted it.
  • Brought up the exposure a little bit.

Editing was done in both Adobe Bridge and Nik Software.

  1. Great edit Cee. I love the beautiful, bright colours, they give a total different feel to the image, it has a sunnier, more positive feel. 🙂

    • Thanks Katie. I sure had fun playing with your photo. I hope you like what people came up with. This photo was already good I wasn’t sure if I could help it out or not. 😀

  2. Cee, I love the golden hue you gave the stonework. It really seems to emphasize the texture. And getting rid of that firs couple was a smart thing to do, they distract from the mood of the piece. Overall, a great job!

  3. Removing the one couple seems like such an obvious choice, now that I’ve seen it! Really does help to accentuate the leading line of the wall. And I like the pastel look you gave it, Cee. The scene now looks more early spring than late fall or early winter 🙂
