Here is my entry for A Photo a Week Challenge with the topic of One Photo, Two Treatments.
I decided to go with a barn I took a couple years on a trip to the town of Siletz, Oregon. This is a small version of the original.

In Color with a dramatic flare

In Black and White

The sepia fits well with the old barn. Very nice contrasts in the photos. ~~~ : – )

I see the color one as more moody and the b&w as abandoned. Amazing contrasts & beautiful.

Glad you like it. It’s a bit heavy for me ordinarily, but I kind of like it too!

I feel the same as Alok. The second photo sets an interesting mood of foreboding.

Good choice. The barn in monochrome looms against the sky … a very different feeling than in color!
