  1. I posted two B&W challenges, but only one shows up. Oh well.
I love trees and clouds, both are Majestic. I guess that means the last photo is my favorite.
    Have a great day.

  2. Wow. For some reason this was the hardest challenge ever. It took the longest to both find and edit images. Perhaps it is because tof the amount of detail in trees. Finally, it came together, though, and I’m happy with the results. Your first picture of the mammoth tree…wow. I think perhaps the simpler pictures are the best with trees. They have so much detail in the bark itself. It was an education working on these images.

    • I find trees hard to capture well. But I like the clear and sharp and trees unless a close is not made for that. Take down your clarity or sharpness you will probably like your photos of trees in general better. You are right the simpler the better, since we tend to like the same kind of photography for the most part. You did awesome.

  3. One of the pictures is naturally monochrome with a few small highlights. I decided to let it go as is. Because winter in this region IS black and white. It’s one of the things we miss the most during the snowy months.

You’ve got some wonderful pictures in here. Bark and sky and shadows. Great stuff.

  4. Octopus tree at Ecola? I went looking for it the last time I was at the coast, but the trail was blocked. Hope that’s not permanent. Great photos!
