Share Your World – 2015 Week #37

Painted desert, Arizona, USA.
Painted desert, Arizona, USA.

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?

Is your hair short (total neck and ear showing), medium (covering ears and neck), long (below shoulders) or extra long (at least halfway down your back)?

List some of your favorite blogs.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

  1. We be wealthy and healthy enough that Chris didn’t have to work.  Or if we did work something we really enjoy, like qigong or teaching/mentoring others.
  2. With the first wish granted, take time to travel the US and Canada by RV
  3. Keep on enjoying our lives as we do now.  Always appreciating our daily life and looking forward to tomorrow.
  4. Be close (and safe) enough to live volcano.  (see banner photo, of a Volcano in Iceland, which was taken off the web)

What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?  The photo I grabbed from the web this morning is of the Painted Desert and within that desert is the Petrified forest in Arizona.   We stopped there on a trip we took once for a day and drove through it.  It has some of the most barren and colorful scenery I have ever seen. I wasn’t into photography yet and I didn’t even have a camera with me.  There are reasons I didn’t have a camera but that doesn’t add to this story.  There are parts of the desert that looks like you are on a different planet.  I would definitely like to go back and take some serious photos.

I have seen so many beautiful places in the USA I really can’t chose just one place.  But since I don’t have any photos of the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest that would have to be on top of my list to see again.

Is your hair short (total neck and ear showing), medium (covering ears and neck), long (below shoulders) or extra long (at least halfway down your back)?  I would call my hair long.  Just long enough to braid or have a good sized pony tail.  But not too long it is unmanageable.

List some of your favorite blogs.  I forgot to add a few links.  Opps.  Here they are.  I follow many many people so please forgive me if I don’t mention you here.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was a real quiet week.  I had a sore knee and couldn’t walk much.  I did however make it to Swan Island Dahlia Farm for a quick photo shoot.  My knee hurt to much to get a lot of photos.  It was a beautiful day when I went so I just sat and enjoyed the view and watched the photographers.  This week will be full of qigong.  I have a healing session and we have a class starting up this week.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  1. Good morning, Cee. THANK YOU! I have a big smile on my face. But I also laughed — they granted you 3 wishes and you listed 4… to see if you can squeeze in one more? 😉 Funny.
I was busy contacting a guy who was looking for my family for his friend via a social media. Quite an interesting surprise. We were looking for my mom’s god daughter for a while and it seems like they were looking for us too. Ah… things we like to do when we get old… finding someone in the past is certainly one of them.
    Have a wonderful day!

  2. I don’t have many wishes that are just for myself. Health – mental, physical, emotional. That’s three, or if I make that one wish, I want to own the place where I live, and plant a lot of trees, fruit trees and cedars, and have even more critters (goats!)//I’d have to say Niagara Falls. I’ve always been big on water//My hair is extra-long. Recently at a hair salon, more than 8 inches was cut off of the ends, bringing it to about waist length – I was very upset and am determined to grow it back//Listing blogs is really too much for me. Sorry. Certainly this is one//Grateful for – hmmm last week? Serendipity that seems to have been a theme, and looking forward to (hopefully) more progress on the bomb shelter/my bedroom. 😉

      1. I have an ongoing struggle with the world that keeps cutting it and my desire to be able to sit on it. I won’t be seeing the inside of a hair salon for some time after this last ‘trim.’

  3. Petrified forest is really cool. Even more surreal is Death Valley, so other worldly they used it in the filming of Star War’s Tatooine. I hope you can get down there some day
