What do you do to make a living or during the day if you are retired.  If you are a student what are you studying?

Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up?

Complete this sentence: Look out behind you, it’s a …

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a  Share Your World  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

What do you do to make a living or during the day if you are retired.  If you are a student what are you studying?  When I was working I worked as a Administrative Sales Assistant for business to business sales for Staples and Mission Foods.  The teams I worked on were in the top three sales for the country.  I was lucky.  Now since I’m not working anymore, I work on my blog but mostly on photography just because it is so much fun.

Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.  Yes, I have run in 5k (3.2 mile) race.  It was a very long time ago.   There really isn’t a story, I would jog just because I liked it and a friend asked me to run with her in the race, so I did.  I was never fast nor was I into competition, so I never did it again.  I did continue to run until I got to sick though.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up?   Honestly, “What time is it?”, especially now since it is getting darker in the mornings.  I just want to make sure I get the sleep I need.  If it is before 6 am I usually roll over and go back to bed.  If it is after 6, I’ll slowly get up.  One of our cats, Charlie usually comes for a visit so I’ll pet him for awhile.  Sometimes MacKenzie is still in bed with me.  So I slowly wake up with my 4-legged kids.

Complete this sentence: Look out behind you, it’s a … green storm cloud.  Honestly, that is the first thing I thought of.  When we lived in Colorado if the clouds behind you were green, that is a good indication that a tornado is one it’s way or softball sized hail.  Neither of which is any fun.  We’ve driven out of town to avoid green clouds.  Fortunately were we lived it never got that bad.  Although Denver did have a lot of damaging hail and would have tornados from time to time.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was a good week, except both of us have been extremely tired.  There has just been a lot of things in our lives that have worn us out.  Most of our stress has been from outside influences.  It just really wears on my body.  Although my qigong master said that my foundation is stable.  So recovery isn’t too far off.  I’m just a little off my game and not quite as full as energy.  So this week, I’m planning a fairly low keyed week and just enjoy.  Today Chris has the day off and we are going out to eat and do a little shopping in Portland.  Our big adventure for the week.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  4. I’m a mom, and even though my kids are mostly grown, basic survival and being there for the kids is the mainstay of my day. I knit, read, write, take occasional photos. It’s not much to talk about, but it’s my life//I haven’t really participated in any long-distance events, but I have shown up in my wheelchair and am going to be a part of a distance-run in J’lem next chance I get – being pushed by a runner//My first thought is probably is it time to get up? It’s a systems check, and if I am not yet ready/able to be up, I go back to sleep or doze for a while//I’ve no idea, but in this house it is most likely a cat//Grateful for so much, but the thing that first comes to mind is my room being finished enough to feel like my room (it still has no electricity, nor glass in the window; looking forward to another week, and hopefully having little or no stress while we are between holidays.

  5. I’ve only experienced green clouds once in my life and it ended up being some kind of funnel cloud that took out half the trees in my neighbourhood. It only lasted for a minute or so but it was scary. Giant trees were uprooted and the maples were split down the middle. Fortunately there were no injuries to people and very little damage to homes or cars.
