This is our fifth week of a new series that I am calling a Habits and the 5 Senses.
This week’s topic is the colors of the sense of taste. This week is all about things you taste. Even though it most likely will be food of some type, you can show photos of foods that delights your or foods that you absolutely detest. Be creative and have fun. Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph. Most of all I hope you have fun.

My Entry for the Week
This first photo is for the geologists and rock hounds. This is a salt rock that has been turned into a light. If you lick it, is actually salt. So I would not recommend putting water on this light.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
These Sense of Hearing photos really put a smile on my face. It’s fun, too, seeing how people interpret the prompt.

The image of Sriracha catched my eyes in this photo challenge, so I thought that I would join the fun and submit an image from my recent visit to Beijing.
Looking forward to many more fun photo challenges from here. Thank you Cee

A salt rock – I had not seen one of those before – what a concept. I will accept your word on the taste of the rock!
I used our normal everyday sense of taste efforts for this challenge – http://wp.me/p3CFsE-203

They give off a nice soft amber glow. Depends on how deep a color your rock is.

Might depend on how much salt gets licked off too!

Your photo of the salt lamp turned out really good! I’ve had one for about a year but I’ve never thought of taking a photo of it. I’ve never tasted it but Daniel comes in and licks it every once awhile (despite my protests) and assures me it is very salty!

It is real salt. So if you are low on salt….you know what to use. Thanks Trisha.

I especially like the photo of the lemon. I have one of those Himalayan salt lamps in my bedroom – it gives such a nice, soft light. Don’t know if it really adds to the quality of sleep as advertised or not, but I like it.

I agree with you on the quality of sleep regarding these lights. We have them all over the house. 😀
