Share Your World – 2015 Week #41

101215sywWhat genre of music do you like?

What is the worst thing you ate this last week?

Would you like to be famous?  In what way?

Complete this sentence:  This sandwich could really use some …

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

What genre of music do you like?  My most favorite is probably still pop music from the late 60 through 70s. Can you tell when I grew up.  I also like folk songs.  OtherwiseI listen to meditation type soothing new age music.  On occasion I like piano too.  Life Steve Hall, Jim Brickman,George Winston.

This combines Donny Osmond and Jim Brickman.

What is the worst thing you ate this last week?  Last week Chris and I got some take out from a local restaurant.  The restaurant to old and run down, but their off and catering is (used) to be well known for good food.  I loved their Patty Melts.  They used a special cheese that melted and got all gooey in a good way.  Their onions were light cooked.  The bread was the swirly rye.  Just perfect.  Chris loved their Monte Cristo.  We would only go get their food maybe three times a year.  Our meals were so bad.  On my sandwich the onions were over cooked.  The cheese was cold and not melted.  It was on some dry light bread and the bread was soggy.  They’ve really changed how they cook.  We won’t be going again.

Would you like to be famous?  In what way?  Not in the classic sense of the word.  I would like to be well respected and liked in my little areas of expertise.  Maybe even have my name recognized, but not necessarily even my face.  Photography and qigong.  But famous, nope.  I am way too much of an introvert for that.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   Last week was an okay week. We got a little bit of rain the weather wasn’t to warm.  This week, will probably be more of the same.  I’m just not real active right now.  I am getting some wonderful encouraging response on my new CCY challenge.  I am still getting a few gorgeous dahlias in my yard.

Qi (energy) hugs,

  1. Your questions are thought provoking; I love them, even when I do not have time to compose a reply. Your description of the bad restaurant experience really resonated with me!!! How many times has that happened in my life!!!! What I find is I go to a place and I think it is really fantastic, and then go back, and it is just okay. I don’t know if it is the newness that has colored my eating experience, or the people I was with, or what. Food is so subjective.

  2. What a bummer about the terrible meal! It’s always so disappointing to spend $ to eat out and then get bad food. I hope this week is better than okay for you. 🙂

  3. I like your comment about being famous, looking at it that way it would be nice to be respected or at least recognised for something you do. I just don’t fancy the publicity, paparazzi and so on that seems to go with fame.

  4. Oh, I love, love, the video you shared! I should have added new age too. I did add spa which is similar. Your response to being famous is great. To be respected and liked is better than being famous. Any time I eat something with horseradish in it, I have a horrible stinging in my sinuses. I just cannot eat it. Until just recently I thought everyone had the same reaction I do.

  5. It is always sad when a favorite restaurant goes downhill, isn’t it? It has happened to most of the restaurants we use to go to … and now most have changed ownership, but we haven’t gone back.

Horseradish is definitely good. On pretty much everything!

I adore comments! Thanks for stopping by to visit.
