We are on to a week three of the Man-Made items category.
This week’s topic is Phones and Computers. Phones, pads and computers are now almost inseparable today with the newer cell phones. I want to see anything to vintage phones and computers to the newest most slick looking new ones. As for computes, computers parts or add-ons, external drives, monitors, etc. are all acceptable. Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph. Most of all I hope you have fun.

My Entry for the Week
Chris with her iPad.
My computer this morning while creating this post.
My external back up drives.
Vintage phones. Now who didn’t want a red phone back then.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
I’m dating myself I’m sure, but I remember the thrill when phones went to buttons instead of the rotary dial. And now I can tell my cell phone who to call, fingers not required. Much.

My knee is getting better. The more I use that the smarter it gets.

Oh my! Didn’t catch that but it was supposed to be “mine is. . .” But maybe the reality is that it’s not so smart after all.

We have seen a lot of difference in phone service over the years. Remember paying by the minute outside of your area code.

If you had a red phone, you could pretend you were the president and Russia was calling! But you know, those old phones? They still work … and they have better sound reproduction than any of the new, fancier phones. All they did was make telephone calls … but they connected. They stayed connected. You didn’t have to spend half the conversation saying “Hello? Hello? Are we still connected? No? Damn.”

My first phone in my first apartment was red. I actually had red for a lot of years. Never did pretend I was the President though….expect when I initially bought the first one.

Wonderful photos. The red pone? I wanted one when I was younger. I finally got one a few months back, took me almost 20 years to get one! 🙂

I got one when I was 21 years old. And I won’t tell you that was nearly 34 years ago. Yikes……

Fun topic Cee – it’s hard to go anywhere without seeing everyone enjoying their mobile phones! http://travelwithintent.com/2015/10/27/copenhagen-thorarinsdottir-statue-mobile-phone/

Wow, red and buttons instead of a dial! I bet that was quite a marvel back in the day. I kind of miss the old rotary type phones sometimes. It was nice that no one freaked out when you didn’t answer because you couldn’t lug those old things around with you.

It is strange back then I would run for the phone. Now I’d prefer not to even use it. 😀

My grandparents used to have a phone like the white one but theirs was black.

What a fun topic! I wasn’t expecting to have as much fun with this as I did, and now more fun in seeing what others have posted and reading all the comments about the red phones. I found one too.
