They all seem to be looking in different directions if you look at their beaks. But since they see out of the sides of their eyes …. they are staring straight at the camera.
Aha…but the varied directions of their heads are what create the charm of the picture. Thanks for the scientific information. It will come in handy at some future date–possibly when running from attack geese.
