Share Your World – 2015 Week #47

alphabets-spread-around-the-world-1024x645In your native language which letter or character describes you best?  Why?

What is your greatest extravagance?

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?

List at least 5 things that makes you laugh.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

alphabet-letter-c-animal-8448501In your native language which letter or character describes you best?  Why?  I’ve been thinking about this question since I picked it out earlier to day.  First American English is my native language.  I think that the letter “C” really fits me well.  Maybe that is why I like my nickname of Cee.  C sounds like it is happy. Any word in English were it ends in an sound of “e” to me sounds happy.  Plus if I look at it the letter C is almost a full circle which tells me things continue to go around.  And what I like there is break in the circle facing forward which goes along with me looking forward more than backward.  Now if I asked for numbers I would have to pick 8 because it is closest to the infinity symbol.

What is your greatest extravagance? Probably my lattes and dark chocolate for an everyday type extravagance.  My camera and supplier and of course, Apple computers, iPods and iPhone.

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?  Just do to my healing in progress, I really don’t do that much exercise for the body.  Sleep is still my best.  I do some qigong and I try to walk at least 1/2 mile a day.  Now my mind I exercise too.  I play Peak Brain Games (for mobile apps) nearly every day.  I used to play Lumosity, but I switched about six months ago to Peak.

List at least 5 things that makes you laugh.

  1. Miss MacKenzie snoring or begging for food
  2. When Chris and I start saying the same thing at the same time
  3. Fast paced TV shows with good humor (doesn’t happen a lot).  Gilmore Girls, Westwing, Grays, Majors Crimes they all usually have a few moments of good acting which makes me smile and sometimes laugh.
  4. Silly kid jokes.
  5. Watching other people laugh, it’s contagious.
  6. Old classic comedies like Dick Van Dyke Show and I Love Lucy.  They are always good for a laugh.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   I had a nice week last week.  Saw my qigong Master and had a good report.  So I’m just keeping on keeping on and getting rest and healing up.  I did slip this weekend past weekend and strained my right knee a bit so I’m being gentle with that.  It is Thanksgiving this week in the US and having a day off with Chris is always pleasant.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Cee. I love these questions and plan on contributing a little later in the day. Hope you and Chris enjoy family and friends or solitude, whichever you prefer. Ours will be family. I think I’d rather have the solitude but at least I will have enough wine around to numb the senses. And I’m not driving this year!

    1. Oh, and I didn’t mention I enjoyed your answers. Didn’t know about the knee. Hope that heals totally. I have an old knee problem that is painful every so often so take good care of yours. And what does your “C” stand for? 🙂

      1. “C” is short for Christine. I had a boss once who didn’t like to write out my entire name because I was always called Christine. He got lazy and starting writing me notes starting with C as my name. Then he actually started calling me C and it stuck …. and I liked it. So I came up with the spelling Cee and it has stuck now for about 15 years or more.

  2. Maybe our first initial is the most consistent part of our names through the years. Lots of other things change, but not that.

We’re binge watching West Wing on Netflix and REALLY enjoying it! We into the final season and we are going to miss it. Have to find something else to binge on!
