It is time for Stacy over at Visual Venturing, One Photo Focus Challenge. Please make sure you click on the link to see how everyone edited the photo submitted by Julie Powell of Julie Powell Photography blog. Here is her original photo.
I found Julz’s photo of the white tulip to be quite pretty. I liked the small dew drop and the shadows inside the tulip. Since I really don’t change flowers often, I thought I would play around with the color a tad bit to make it look like a whole different tulip. So here what I came up with. I just made a few simple edits because the the photo was good to go as it was. I did make it a portrait photo and cropped out most of the dirt.
All my editing was done in Adobe Bridge.

Okay, apologies for coming late to the party, Cee. I don’t know how you did what you did, but I love it! Beautiful, vibrant, and a great color choice 🙂

All I did was paint a deep purple filter over the white. It was actually one of the easiest editing jobs I’ve done for your challenge. 😀 😀

I started when a good deal of the magic took place in the darkroom…We have gone so far beyond that now, it is getting hard to look back and even imagine that point in time.

I never was into photography, seriously, in the dark room era. I always had my Kodak 110 film and used that a lot. The age of digital changed me forever.
