Share Your World – 2015 Week #49

girl-looking-at-birthday-presentWhat would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

What color would you like your bedroom to be?

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

AutumnSeasonalColorChartWhat would be your ideal birthday present, and why?  Honestly, just a kind word.  We don’t celebrate birthdays, anniversary or holidays with presents.   We have not done that for many years.  We just give what we want through the just because.  Besides I am only one day older than the previous day.  So why not consider each day as a gift.  Plus I don’t need things.  I just like to know people care.

What color would you like your bedroom to be?  We have had turquoise and dark purple in the past.  I think I like the darker warmer colors (Autumn).  Two colors I don’t want for sure is gray or black.  I want my bedroom to be comfy and peaceful.  The only thing I do is sleep in my bedroom so dark is good for me.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why? No snow if perfectly fine with me.  I happy with our rain.

Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?  This is a simple choice for me.  Bathing I would go without.  Clothes get dirty when I look at them, even before I put them on.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   This past week we have been listening to a book for soul writing/journalling. It is quite interesting.  When I was a kid I could write from my soul.  I am thinking about starting it backup again.  The book is Writing Down Your Soul: How to Activate and Listen to the Extraordinary Voice Within by Janet Conner.

Cee

  1. I love your answers! I feel the same way with your answers to the birthday and colour questions. I am so surprised to read that the bath question is easy for you. I thought long and hard about that one because I want neither options! Haha. =P I half-expected the answer to the snow question because I have heard how bad it could get with snowy winters and how much some people prefer warmth and sun. Perhaps the moon is always brighter on the other side because my countrymen did pay to experience some snow.

      1. Yes! The humidity is so different near the poles. I have just returned from holiday in Australia and I felt little need to shower and change clothes while I was there. I think it would be somewhat similar to the humidity in U.S. The air is so dry that my long hair dries so fast after washing.

  2. I have that book, Writing Down Your Soul. I haven’t done any of the exercises though. Maybe one of these days I’ll get less self conscious about writing and do it. I do love what I’ve read of the book.

    1. Chris has already started…I’m kind of waiting for this cold to go away and I also order the companion workbook to start. Then I’ll probably move over to my computer for writing.
