Last week I started the Festive Colors and I’m continuing with Christmas colors this week. In America we celebrate Christmas with Red, Green and Gold. Does your country (or family) follow with the same color tradition? Here are some red and green photos to help with the mood of Christmas.

Beautiful reds and greens, Cee.

In oriental country, Christmas is not their traditional holiday, the Lunar New Year is.
Here is one of my old posts describing the celebration of the Lunar New Year and the color coming with it:

I tend to celebrate the Lunar New Year more than any other holiday. Is red a typical New Year Celebration Color? I also know that each year there is a color too.

Yes, red is the traditional color for Lunar New Year. Of cause people can celebrate the New Year with whatever colors they like.

Wonderful photos! Is the first one of watermelon berries? And those raspberries look scrumptious! Happy holidays to you and Chris.

No they are not watermelon berries. The are actually goji berries. Happy Holidays 😀

Thanks for the info – I had heard of goji berries but have never seen them, so I looked it up and see that the leaves and configuration are quite different from watermelon berries, which hang on a vine.
