Share Your World – 2016 Week 4

Cave House

What one thing are you really glad you did yesterday?

Are you generally focused on today or tomorrow?

Would you want a guardian angel/mentor? What would they tell you right now?

Would you rather live in a cave house or a dome house made out of glass? (photos of the houses found on google search)

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

Okay maybe there were a couple of old buildings left.
Okay maybe there were a couple of old buildings left.

What one thing are you really glad you did yesterday?  I wanted to go take some more picture of the building that is being destroyed in town and Chris decided to come along.  After taking some more photos, we based up our truck and wen to see an old ghost town (at least it was on the ghost town registry for Oregon) which isn’t too far away.  The town doesn’t exist but it is now small orchards and huge houses for the most part.  Most of the houses were built in the 60 or early 70s and some newer than that.  So I was able to get some photos of that.  Then we headed down to Salem, Oregon and bought ourselves a few adult coloring books.  So my little photo op at the building turned into a wonderful little adventure.

Are you generally focused on today or tomorrow?  I would say that I am more focused on today.  I think that is a good thing.  Seize the moment.

Would you want to have as a guardian angel/mentor? What would they tell you right now?  Yes I would.  Actually I feel like I already have one that I don’t always listen to.  For the most part I would hear, be gentle with yourself and just enjoy the moment.

Would you rather live in a cave house or a dome house made out of glass?  Tough choice.  If I lived way back in the wood or on a stable ocean cliff far away from people, I would take the glass house.  Privacy would be automatic and not a concern.  Some of the newer modern cave houses would be rather cool too.  So I might have to compromise.  A glass house on top and then dig down deep enough and have the master bedroom and TV room and small kitchen underground.  If it is deep, make sure there is an elevator to get to the cave.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week ended up just being fun.  The building that is being destroyed was a fun photo opportunity and the weather was mostly good.  Rain but warmer than it had been.  I’m expecting more delight this next week as well.  For my initial photos of the building being destroyed see my Odd Ball Week 4 submission.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  1. Oh I like all your question and will participate this week again. Although, I should give you a fair warning, I finally got the manual to the camera I bought, so I might take a few odd shots now and then, 🙂

  2. Fun questions! I’m glad your trip to a ghost town turned in to a wonderful adventure. The time I tried to visit a ghost town was a disaster with hours without water and miles of road so bumpy that the muffler fell off my truck. And there were no buildings left! (I learned to never get directions from my dad.) I hope the upcoming week is another fun one for you!

      1. It wasn’t fun at the time but looking back on it makes me laugh. I still would like to find a real ghost town, one with standing buildings. Our climate just isn’t good for that though. Things rot and fall down so fast!
