Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Things That are Cold

Chris and her brother Joe at Multnomah Falls on a cold Spring day.

Chris and her brother Joe at Multnomah Falls along the Columbia Gorge in Oregon on a cold rainy Spring day.

This week’s topic is Things that are Cold.  I’m not sure if this set has a title or not.  It is basically uses the sense of touch and sight.  You can get photos of the sun because that is hot.  Steaming food or water.  Maybe something that is hot pink.  Don’t forget the flames.  Or even some that is real popular right now.  Use your imagination and creativity for this challenge.  The thing is to have a lot of fun.  Be as creative if you want.   Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

  1. Living in Hawaii and just returning from India and Dubai, and the year before, Southeast Asia, I am sorely lacking in “cold” images (even my trip to Alaska was unseasonably warm). Hopefully I can jump in to the next challenge.

  2. You certainly picked a timely subject! We had our second significant snow ending last night … more predicted. And it is getting VERY cold.

I love the picture of the tall ships in the harbor. The snow and the fog are wonderfully moody. Reminds me of old painting from the 1800s.

  3. The B&W car wash photo is a really good one, Cee. I like the motion of the water drops and concentration on the worker’s face.
