Share Your World – 2016 Week 10

51ba96d2b401303741914bdd1c2d8eb5With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world and which may not always match our reality.

What would you ask for if a genie granted you three wishes?

What experiences are most meaningful to you?

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Complete this sentence:  The best day of my life was….

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Most photos for this post were found on google searches … unless I say they are my photography.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

What would you ask for if a genie granted you three wishes?

These answers are just for me and Chris.

  • Plenty of cash to live out the rest of our lives and share some with friends.
  • Have a housekeeper and personal chef.
  • Get a new car.

If all of this were magically taken care of, we can put our energy into living life and seeing where it takes us.

What experiences are most meaningful to you?

It is actually the small things that are meaningful to me.  Like last week, meeting up with a blogger I’ve known for years.  We met and spent a few delightful hours together which will remain with me forever.

Some of the best days, Chris and I have had were days we didn’t plan or trips we have every moment planned out.  One vacation Chris and I planned on testing out a new pop up tent trailer on the eastern plains of Colorado in the winter, we got stopped by a train and talked about our trip and we decided to travel to Arizona to see some friends of ours, see the Grand Canyon.  We had to buy summer clothes in Tucson where our friends lived.  But that trip was spontaneous and we had a blast.

Sometimes it is the littlest of conversations that Chris and I have that makes our relationship feel so much more special.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

At first I wanted to be a reporter and make my way up to being Editor in Chief of the LA Times.  But sometime in high school I found I really wanted to be a teacher.  I have never been either a teacher or a reporter.

Complete this sentence:  The best day of my life was…. I can’t even begin to narrow down my life to one day.  But my heart says the day I met Chris over 28 years ago.  I still remember it like was yesterday.  We connected instantly with each other.  I had not clue we would be together for as long as we have, but I knew she was special and so was our connection.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  This last week it was fun meeting Annie, my blogger friend.  I also had a qigong class.  It was an exhausting week with great energy.  Now I am just relaxing and recouping some energy.  Tomorrow I have a qigong session and Saturday will be my last qigong class for a month or so.  The sun came out a little last week.  That was nice.

Qi (energy) hugs,

  1. Cee, as usual, I love your answers. Maybe it’s because each week I get to learn a little more about you and Chris. I can’t even imagine 28 years together, but then I couldn’t imagine even 7 years together as Lynn and I have been so far (we met in 2009, married in 2012)! It already feels like a lifetime- in a good sense! 🙂

  2. I love the way you write about your partnership, so many small things being the best things, it reminds me of my own.
I think we might be overdue for travel spontaneity. Maybe it will find us soon 🙂 lol
    Great prompts, Cee!

  3. I always find it interesting how many people perceive what is their ideal career and then end up in a totally different path.

  4. A spontaneous trip sounds like fun, but I have this need to “be prepared” and plan things out when it comes to traveling – although, quite often, those plans change when I get to my destination.
