Share Your World – 2016 Week 13

2-lovebyte-love-little-thingsWith your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world and which may not always match our reality.

Are you left or right handed?

If you had only one TV, would you prefer the TV in the living room or another room?

Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.

Complete this sentence: Love is… .

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

Are you left or right handed?  I would say most definitely right handed.  There was a time I could write pretty well left handed, but haven’t used it in years.

If you had only one TV, would you prefer the TV in the living room or another room?  We have our TV in in an extra bedroom which we use as a tv room.

Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.  I have run in a 3K before.  There really wasn’t a story.  I was in my early twenties and would run some everyday so it just seem like a natural thing to do.  I didn’t not have a good experience.  I compete too much with myself and had felt terrible. I did still run after that but just for fun.

Complete this sentence: Love is… .   My first thought when I saw this question on my list was Love is being tolerant.  I know there are so many cute sayings I could have said and all would be true.  I thought tolerant because Chris, my wife, now for 28+ years has been so tolerant of me over the years it has to be love.  Right now I’m going through a little bump in my health and she is so kind and patient, but the word that really hits me is tolerant.  In general through our 28 years we have laughed, cried, fought on rare occasions, talked a lot and we’d bend with the wind.  Two people who are not tolerant could never survive together.  Love is tolerant to me.  And that love can be spread out to everyone I encounter or even hear about.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  That the sun is really starting to show up every day.  Chris and I are driving around and really seeing Spring pop up all over.  What a nice sight to see.

  1. 28 years? Yeah, I’d say that’s love. In our first 7 years together (we’ve been married 4 years this May) Lynn and I have also “laughed, cried, fought on rare occasions, talked a lot and… bend with the wind.” Congrats to you and Chris. Not to get too intrusive but it must have been a bit difficult for you two 28 years again. Glad you made it!

    1. HI Emilio, even when I was so sick it really was never that hard. We had each other. Not saying it was easy but we always knew I would be okay and we’d be together. For a lot of years now (even before I got sick) we would say “together forever only good” – TFOG for short.

  2. Wonderful answers! Tolerance is definitely needed for lasting love! I’m sorry you’re experiencing a bump in the road in your health. I hope you get over that bump quickly and feel better soon.

  3. Tolerance, patience, a sense of humor … but there’s something that can’t be explained. It’s just that special something that makes you want to try harder to make it work. To find the tolerance, the patience, the humor.
