Share Your World – 2016 Week 14

With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world and which may not always match our reality.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?

What makes you laugh the most?

What was your favorite food when you were a child?

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

tumblr_l50hozucsh1qb3mmfo1_400If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?  The answer would be yes to all three.  This is SYW world, so I can have all three.

What makes you laugh the most?  I have to admit, our 4-legged kids make me laugh he most.

What was your favorite food when you were a child?   Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner had to my ultimate favorite.  Followed closely by pancakes.  As I got older preteen to early teens.  Swedish Meatballs with noodles.

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.  For me to narrow it down to just five flowers is a touch choice.  Let’s see what I can do.

I might have to go with types of plants:

  • Bulbs and Tubers:  Dahlias, Bearded Irises, Tulips, Daffodils, Grape Hyacinths, Daffodils, day lilies (this is probably my favorite category)
  • Bushes:  Rhododendrons, hydrangea, azaleas, camellias, peony
  • Water Plants:  Lotus and Waterlilies
  • Flowers:  Sunflowers, daisy, clematis, columbine, zinnia

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was kind of bland for me.  I wasn’t feeling too well.  Although I had a terrific week on my blog.  Thanks everyone for all your support.  This week I am hoping for a much better week.

Qi (energy) hugs

  1. My mother was a terrible cook. Maybe that was part of my problem with food. She was really BAD. No one EVER begged her to make her “special something” because there were only variations on a theme of overcooked. I preferred chocolate 🙂

  2. Hope you have a better week, Cee. Loved your answers, especially the plants. Nature is so marvelous. It’s impossible to choose only a few favorites.

  3. I always loved Kraft Macaroni and Cheese too. I wouldn’t mind a bowl right now. 🙂 I’m sorry you had a bland week. I hope this week is much better for you.

  4. So hard to pick just a few flowers but I think the bulbs and roses are top of my list. I liked my mother’s cooking, she was not crazy about cooking but she did her best, except for cabbage. I still hate the smell and sight of boiled cabbage.

  5. it’s taking all my strength not to buy dahlias this year (esp the fancy double-bloom ones i saw on QVC or HSN last night). i have some kind of bugs that devour them before they can bloom so they’re just a waste of money. but i love the dinner-plate versions!!

I shouldn’t have any kind of lilies (the entire plant is extremely toxic to cats) but I have 1 spider lily and 1 pineapple lily (maybe.. it didn’t bloom last year).

I love plumeria and, fortunately, they love my yard. For bushes, I love star jasmine. Trees: any kind of fruit.

My assistant & laugh answers were identical to yours. I don’t remember what my favorite food was… but I know it wasn’t tacos, hamburgers, or hot dogs… they were such a weekend routine that I hated all 3 (home-made; drive-thru hamburgers were great; but I never was, and still am not, a fan of tacos).

  6. We could pick all 3? I change my answer to #1 then 🙂 Hope you are feeling well very soon. I’ve been under the weather myself, it’s that time of year with the changing of the seasons.

    1. I happen to live a mile or so away from the largest dahlia farm in the Americas. 😀 😀 I get hundreds of varieties I can photo each year. Plus I have tons of them in my yard too.

  7. I would like to join in. I hope I can do this challenge justice! It seems like a lot of fun! Thank you for hosting it! My post will be soon! 🙂 Oh, and what day do you post the week’s questions? Thanks, Annette
