Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Freeways, Expressways, Highways

I-25 South of Salem, Oregon.

I-25 South of Salem, Oregon.

We are now on our last subject of this current series which topics are quite varied and doesn’t have any kind of theme, so please don’t look for one.

This week’s topic is Freeways, Expressways, Highways in another words, roads where you can travel fast on.   Once again I think this topic is fairly self-explanatory.  These roads should be easy for both cars and trucks to drive on.  Most of the roads I am looking for are multi-lane freeways.  Although a nice two way highway that doesn’t get a lot of traffic on it can work too.  The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.  Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

  1. I just forwarded this to myself because I’d like to participate. I hope to do it tomorrow. If I can find that freeway picture I’m thinking about!

  2. What a perfect theme for all those snaps I shot as a passenger on road trips. Fun challenge! Love the “Interstate I-84 near Hood River”, it has the perfect balance between distance & proximity, and scenic with scene.

  3. Highways with beautiful sceneries ….my favorite is the top image … great capture of the highways pulses – http://wp.me/p293Pw-cPJ – because I haven’t been behind the wheel since 29.12.68 – after an accident. I have nearly no images for this week topic, but I have entered what I have. Have a great week.

  4. We are such a nation of roads! A lot of my pictures look pretty much identical to yours. Taken from the car on the way from place to other place. In Europe, I think they would have more pictures of train tracks and fewer of roads 🙂 Love this challenge!
