I have been nominated by my friend Lena at iPictureThis blog to participate in a challenge called Seven Day Nature Photo Challenge. Lena photographic eye is simply wonderful. I love to see nature through her eyes.

Oregon forest with a fallen old growth tree.
To take part in the challenge I’m supposed to post one photo per day for seven days, of anything from the natural world. And every day I should nominate a new member. Today I would like to nominate two people if they are willing to play along.
“On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea”
This is also my entry for Becca’s (from On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea blog) Sunday Trees – 230 challenge.

Wonderful tall trees. They look like very old growth. You don’t see trees of that age in this part of the country. They were all cut down long ago to make ships’ masts and other things. Gorgeous!

We are known for our forests. But we don’t have that many old growth trees left either. 😀

Wonderul trees, it is interesting to see how your green colours are so different from our greens here in New Zealand – we are more an olive green – see I am learning from the Colour Your World challenge

I am so enjoying the Colour Your World Challenge too. I’m going to miss it when it is over. Great observation. 😀

The fallen down tree is very special. It almost looks like an old jetty.

Have you tried doing such stuff before? Sagada has so much to offer but we only got the chance to see that cave.I would love to go back there someday even if its a bit of scary trip because cliffs are everywhere along the way.Although, the scenery was really breathtaking so its worth it! Its too bad I don’t have much interest in photography that time so I don’t have a lot of pictures.Maybe the second time. 🙂 I’m loving this challenge and really happy that I was nominated.

I was able to walk (climb down 200+ steps) into a cave in Colorado. It was fascinating and a wonderful experience. Have fun with the Seven Day Nature Challenge. I know I did.
