Share Your World – 2016 Week 16

Removing the contact lens from its case

With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world and which may not always match our reality.

Announcement:  Since WordPress pingbacks are not working properly right now, I would recommend you add a comment with your post link.

If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts?  Or what do you use if you need to have your vision corrected?

If you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be?

Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?

Would you rather take a 1 or 2 week vaction with an organized tour or take a cruise of your choice?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts?  Or what do you use if you need to have your vision corrected?  This is a simple question for me……glasses.  I just can’t picture me putting anything in my eyes.  I’ve had glasses since I was 6 years old.  I asked once about contacts (early twenties) and was told don’t even think about them.  My astigmatism is way to bad to wear contacts.  I was kind of relieved.

traffic-signsIf you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be?  I have looked at so many signs this morning and nothing was speaking to me except this one.  Lots of sings telling to me to do or be cautious of.  The one that stands out is the Stop sign.  I think after their past month with health issues, I feel like I just want to stop listening to everyone and just stop spend some time with me and then cautiously proceed.  Note:  By the way, my health issues were a bad reaction to medication I took.  I am off that medication and doing perfectly fine and healing up nicely.  I found that the medication that was prescribed for me wasn’t even necessary.

Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?  No it was more on the easy side for me.  I loved teaching and from almost the third grade on I was always teaching something.  My last year in high school, I actually got paid by the school for being a tutor and teacher aid.  I wasn’t a perfect A student gal, but I did end up graduation 13th our of 500+ students.

Would you rather take a 1 or 2 week vaction with an organized tour or take a cruise of your choice?  I would take one of the smaller cruises of Alaska.

Also, my growth spurt on WordPress is still going strong.  I want to thank all of you who follow or visit my blog.  You have helped me smile and be proud of my blog.

Qi (energy) hugs

  2. I am glad that you feel better now, Cee. My husband had similar experience. After 5 ER visits (a couple of them were near-death situation), we finally found out that one med that had been taken for 10 years was bad for him now. After he stopped taking it, everything is fine.
    Have a great day.

  3. I’m so sorry that not only were you prescribed medicine that you didn’t need, but you had a bad reaction to it! Not nice. I hope you’re feeling much better, Cee.

  4. I like your signs. There were so many I could have picked for my day…I should have just picked them all!

  5. I’m really wary of new medications these days. Before I take anything, I ask a million questions, look it up on the web, and think carefully about whether or not I need it. I already take so much stuff, the chances of a bad interaction looms large.

I’ve heard good things about those Alaskan cruises.

    1. It was a fairly common med so I wasn’t concerned at all. Although my first instinct was I didn’t need it. So I didn’t even pay attention to side effects except for what the pharmacist warned me about. I got to the point where I couldn’t walk from one room to another room without getting extremely out of breathe. There were other things too ….

  6. We try not to take any medications because neither of us have great faith in big pharma. But, sometimes it can’t be helped. I’m happy to hear you’re doing ok this week. The doctors seem to think they have my anemia in check so I’m doing pretty good, too. Anyway, my own post is at http://wp.me/p44x96-Rm. And thanks for having so many fun challenges each week! 🙂
