A busy intersection near my house. Shortly after it rained. The road has plenty of Sequoia needles on the road.
This week’s Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CB&W) topic is Roads of Any Kind. As long as a vehicle of any kind can drive on the road, your photo will qualify for this challenge. I don’t even need to see the vehicle. Just make sure that the roads is the main topic in your photo. Have a lot of fun with this topic. Sepia tones and selective color are always allowed in this challenge. I just want you to have some fun with your photography.
For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below. Be creative and challenge yourself. For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

MY ENTRY THIS WEEK

Foggy road near the rose farm.

Early morning freeway.

Near sunset.

Country road.

Freeway in Portland, Oregon (for those who know close to the Hollywood district).

Beautiful pictures. I love the way the trees figure in the 3rd and 4th pictures.

love the sepias and who can resist that old dirt road?! here is mine. I think this is the first time I went and hunted up an old photo. I always use current ones but didn’t like the ones I took from this winter….too drab.

I love your shot with the fence on the right, I think because of the contrast of the fence and road that leads past (any) fence. And I love the large trees, almost in silhouette. But then, I love trees in many shapes.

My favourite of your selection is ‘Country Road’ – because of the angle of the tree at the top of the road. Very excited to have been selected as a featured blogger from the last challenge. Here is my selection for “roads of any kind” I hope you enjoy
